What to do? What to do? Let us count the ways.

There might be snow on the ground, but it’s no reason to avoid Saskatchewan Blue Cross Gardenscape this weekend at Prairieland Park. This will be a wonderful place to get inspired about your yard this summer. The show runs Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Verna Klassen, a volunteer gardener, arranges flowers in a planter in preparation for Gardenscape at Prairieland Park in Saskatoon, SK on March 21, 2018. The annual Saskatchewan Blue Cross Gardenscape will get you thinking about spring, even though there is still snow on the ground. If you’re looking to spruce up your yard, this year’s event will fill you with inspiration. The show runs Friday through Sunday at Prairieland Park.

Our Saskatchewan Rush is home Saturday night for a tilt against the Rochester Knighthawks. Game time at SaskTel Centre is 7:30 p.m.

Also on the sporting front is the Western Canadian Ringette Championships held at the Legends Centre in Warman as well as the Latrace/Hamm and Kinsmen arenas in Saskatoon. Get out and watch some top-calibre ringette.

Friday night could be a good chance to learn about Hutterite culture. At the German Cultural Centre, An Evening with Mary-Ann Kirkby: The Hutterites and their Captivating Story will give you a glimpse of the world very few of us know. The acclaimed author of I Am Hutterite begins her talk at 6:30 p.m.

Anastasia Rizikov joins the SSO. Handout.

Acclaimed Canadian pianist Anastasia Rizikov performs with the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra on Saturday night at TCU Place. She’s been travelling the world since she was a youngster and brings her talents to the city for the first time. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
