Please send items for Parish Notes to weekend@thestarphoenix.com with the words “Parish Notes” in the subject line. Submission deadline is the Friday one week before at 10 a.m.

Soup and Concert: Sunday, noon, at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 3572 33rd St. West. Soup lunch followed by a concert by Eldon Mchargue and John King (Eldon John). Donations to the church furnace fund will be appreciated.

Movies and Popcorn: Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m., at St. Thomas Wesley United Church, 808 20th St. West. Showing documentary Angry Inuk. With a discussion after the video. Everyone is welcome. Admission is free and popcorn is provided.
